Hello Future Nurses,
Wanted to know if anyone was preparing to take the Hesi a2, and or applying to UT Houston before the Jan. 15, 2014 deadline for Fall 2014???? I would like to form a study forum!!
I was originally tracking the UTMB forum since I did not think I was getting in to UTHSC but I have been accepted.
For those of you who are deciding between UTMB and UTHSC (or between any schools for that matter) I HIGHLY recommend checking out the NCLEX passing rates. It definitely made the decision for me. It can be googled or the link is: https://www.bon.texas.gov/nursingeducation/edudocs/RN-5YR-passrate.pdf
I'm having trouble getting a hold of someone in the offices, but I was accepted for Fall before I even heard a decision about Summer 2014. Of course I am going to accept the offer for Fall 2014 but if I happened to be accepted for Summer 2014 as well I would love to start earlier. I dunno what to do!? Has this happened to anyone else???
Congrats everyone on your acceptances! I just accepted mine! Fingers crossed for those still waiting to hear. My stats for those still interested: overall gpa: 3.85; science & prereq gpas: 4.0; hesi: 93% overall.
Was trying to find the fb page & can't seem to. Can someone help me out pls?
I got accepted for fall, but I was already accepted for summer. Glad to see they are on top of their stuff....::sarcasm::
Same thing happened to me and many others. I contacted the school and was told that some of the summer students were accidentally included on the distribution list for the fall acceptance email as well.

Call the number listed at the bottom of your acceptance email, if you haven't already. She was super helpful when I called the other day.
