UT Houston (Fall 2014 applicants)

Hello Future Nurses,

Wanted to know if anyone was preparing to take the Hesi a2, and or applying to UT Houston before the Jan. 15, 2014 deadline for Fall 2014???? I would like to form a study forum!!

Can I have the link where we are able to view our application status I have forgotten it.. thanks

So do we have any idea when they will be giving out decisions? This is my top choice, and I know chances are slim but it would be nice to know either way. I have one acceptance from TCU, but they are wanting $500 by March 18th and I'd love to know if I have other options before giving them a nonrefundable deposit.

This is my fault but when I applied I wanted to apply for traditional I tried to enter that into my app but the only open one was accel bsn that it let me enter into the box thing so I left as is, im I the only one fmll

I really don't know either. I applied for both summer and fall at UTHSC and other than the folks that were on the Spring wait list, no one for the summer program has been accepted yet.

I applied and was accepted into UTMB. I went ahead and accepted there and paid the deposit, bc I wasn't sure when we would hear from UTHSC. It's a killer to have paid so much on apps already and then have to pay for deposits as well!

It's my understanding that UTHSC has moved to the BSN Pacesetter Program only and there isn't a "traditional" program. Is there a problem with you starting in the summer? Will you have your prereqs completed?

All I have left is sociology which I'm taking right now. I thought it would start in the fall since I had applied for that semester specifically..

My transcript is still on and I have my last 4 in progress this semester. Acceptances usually go out march-April. I haven't received even a transcript evaluation yet. I think those go out a few weeks before acceptances but I could be wrong.

If you applied for fall and selected the accel BSN program, then what you did was correct (since they are only doing the pacesetter now). Everything should be fine.
