UT Houston (Fall 2014 applicants)

Hello Future Nurses,

Wanted to know if anyone was preparing to take the Hesi a2, and or applying to UT Houston before the Jan. 15, 2014 deadline for Fall 2014???? I would like to form a study forum!!

Thanks. I'm still trying to decide. Also waiting to hear from Texas A&M. Doing a lot of thinking and praying right now. Hoping to come to a decision soon.

A&M is now doing the accelerated program so if you wanted to, you could get your BSN and then your MSN in three years! Most other MSN program require you work for a year or two before you can even apply. I'm also waiting to hear back from them but that would definitely be my first choice. Either case, they are all great schools and congrats on getting in!!!

I had no idea about the program until you mentioned it! I just went and looked and you're right! Sounds pretty intriguing. I've already applied for the Traditional track and it says qualified applicants may be selected for the new program. Thanks for the heads up!

Hey fellow applicants,

I am new to these posts and I appreciate reading all that y'all have written. It has helped me a lot in the application process knowing some one else is as nervous as I am. Congrats to those of you that have been accepted! I know you must be thrilled. Some of you have applied to several schools, like I have.......please remember to let the schools you decline know that so they can go on down the list and hopefully make a space for me lol! All of your scores are so impressive that I worry that I may be further down on the list. Anyway......congrats to all and best of luck to those waiting like me!

Has anyone that applied for the Fall 2014 semester received a course evaluation yet?

Not yet. I emailed them on Friday to ask when we could expect transcript evaluations and I was told that they are working on them right now. So hopefully we will start getting them soon!
