Not I! Have they even started sending out acceptances for Summer semester yet?

I got my transcript eval a week ago, however I applied for summer and fall, so they're probably just sending them out for summer right now. So far I don't think any summer applicants have been notified yet, with the exception of students that were placed on the Spring wait list.

Wow. Mine is still the same as it was 2 months ago when I applied. I'll probably hear from utmb before uthsc even updates anything of mine.

Hello! I am also applying to UTH for this fall. I have my application all done and have taken my HESI so now I am anxiously awaiting the next couple months to get over! Here are my stats: Total GPA: 3.85 Science GPA: 4.0 HESI Cumulative: 96.8 Reading Comp: 96 Grammar: 94 Vocab & Gen Knowledge: 98 A&P: 100 Math: 96 Critical Thinking: 870 I am taking my last four classes this semester which are A&P2, microbiology, and my two electives medical terminology and Spanish 1.[/quote']
Just an FYI, but I took Med Term as one of my electives and was told 2 weeks before the start of the Spring program that Med Term is not accepted as a valid elective with UT. So I had to take the Biology CLEP the week before classes started. So I'd try to swap that out for something else ASAP to avoid that headache :-/

Just an FYI, but I took Med Term as one of my electives and was told 2 weeks before the start of the Spring program that Med Term is not accepted as a valid elective with UT. So I had to take the Biology CLEP the week before classes started. So I'd try to swap that out for something else ASAP to avoid that headache :-/

Really? Man that would totally suck. Med term is a total time drain on me right now too! I guess I will be taking a summer class then to fix that. Do you know if they have a list for accepted electives? When I emailed to ask all they told me was it had to be non nursing, non remedial, non PE class. Hmmmm....

They won't actually tell you the classes they accept, but I was able to talk to the registrar on the phone and she could look the course name and number up in their system and see if it would be accepted. She also told me that they rarely accept any computer courses as electives either. I ended up doing the Bio CLEP as one of my electives and a literature course as my other. You can also take another art course or a foreign language course. I'd definitely call them before registering for anything yet, just in case.

Just got a response to an email I sent to the SON on January 17 concerning my HESI scores still being on my To Do list. She said they were being entered into the system and that my application will be considered for Fall. I think that was stressing me more than I thought! I am so relieved. (:

No my application will be considered for fall. That just means my application is complete. I was worried because my HESI scores are still on my To Do list. (:

I wish it meant I was accepted! Haha.

She also told me that they rarely accept any computer courses as electives either. I ended up doing the Bio CLEP as one of my electives and a literature course as my other. You can also take another art course or a foreign language course. I'd definitely call them before registering for anything yet, just in case.

I emailed admissions yesterday and heard back from them today, regarding my hesi scores still on my to do list. They finally removed it! I do still have my transcript on there though I do still have my last 4 prereqs in progress this semester and my application status is still incomplete. I went ahead and requested my transcript to be emailed again in hopes of them immediately applying it upon receipt. So we'll see!
