Yes, it is extremely early to begin talking about the Spring 2018 class, however, I thought it would be nice if we could all get together here and go through our pre-req/application/acceptance journey. It would be fun to lend support, chronicle our stresses and excitements and see how everything unfolds for us from now until the first day of class (assuming we get accepted).
I'll start:
I'm taking my pre-reqs at Lonestar (10 hrs for Spring, 14 hrs for Summer). I plan to take 18 hrs for Fall and will be testing out of 15 hrs via CLEP. I work PRN in a Critical Care unit at a major hospital. I will be taking the HESI in May; once Spring semester ends. Lastly, I have high hopes to be accepted into the Honors program once I am eligible to apply, since I have a deep interest in research.
I hope to hear from some of you! The application deadline is September 1 and there is a webinar info session at 10am tomorrow.
God bless.
Hello,
does anyone else's application still say incomplete?
On my to do list I have two official transcripts that are still missing but apparently it won't go away unless I finish all my prereqs but I will still have one pre req left this coming fall.
How do we know if your application is ready to be reviewed did you all receive an email? I still have a yellow triangle.
Ok so I just submitted my application and I'm scared I missed something ): Did anyone else see a place to put any extra curriculars or experience? I have been a student athlete while doing my pre requisites and wanted to include that in my application. I didn't realize that the application was over when I hit submit, I thought I was just paying the application fee. Also this summer I did about 30 hours of shadowing which I also wanted to include and didn't see a place. Someone please tell me if I just royally screwed myself over ))):

You will know that your application is complete and ready to be reviewed when you go to your to-do list and it's blank and/or you go to your admission status under student admissions (within your MyUTH) and you have a green circle that says complete.

They do not accept personal statements, resumes or experience. Some schools do, but UTHealth does not.
Okay, is it just me or is the MyUTH portal absolute crap?
One of my transcript items just disappeared so I am assuming that one was received, but I can't tell which one. Additionally, half of the website doesn't actually help me do anything. Click a link? MyUTH just sends me to a page description of that link and what it would do if it existed. Very unproductive.

Click on the remaining transcript and it will tell you which one it still needs.
I could be wrong, but I believe it means that they know you put it on your application and they are waiting to receive/process it into your file. It had initiated on my Hesi scores for the longest, but I took the test under their department code. After a while it disappeared. As for logging into your MyUTH, you should have received two emails from uth.edu admissions concerning your login username and password. I got those emails about 5 days after I submitted my application.
Thanks! I am afraid they have not received my transcript. I requested HCC Transcript services mail it to UTH Registrar's Office on 07/29/17. Can anyone please provide me the Direct Access Code for UTHealth for electronic transcript submission? I want to submit the transcript one more time before Sept 1st.

If it says initiated that means that they have received it and are waiting to give it the check mark until all of your pre requisites are submitted
Does anyone have any experience with the to-do list statuses for UTH? I submitted my transcripts a week ago and my to-do list has stated "initiated" ever since.
I called the registrar today and didn't get very far, she pretty much said that the reason why it's under "to-do" is because I have future coursework to complete. I asked if there were any further actions that I need to take and if my application would still be reviewed with a pending action and she impatiently said "I just answered your question" and repeated herself :///
The note under my to-do list DOES state that it will remain there since I have future coursework, but I am unclear if that disqualifies my application from being considered complete.
If anyone get get any clear answer, lmk :)
