UT Austin Alternate Entry 2020

Hey everyone! I did not see a post for applicants for Ut Austin's Alternate Entry MSN program for 2020, so I started one! I know the application just opened a few days ago but with all everyone balances, I figure why not start now? I am applying for their PMNHP specialty.

For everyone who didn't hear about interviews yet don't panic! Tracy said interviews last all the way until early January and there are typically multiple groups depending on if you were an in state/out of state candidate and what program you applied to!

Thank you so much for posting this. I have been distraught and sure that I am getting a rejection. I know there are different interview dates for the different specialties, but are there multiple interview days for the same specialty? I applied to LeaDS and figured since I haven't heard and others have, that means I am not being considered. I wish they would just tell me one way or the other so I can stop worrying and make another plan if the answer is no ?

LeaDs applicant here- I just received an interview email earlier this afternoon!

So not to worry, they are still sending them out! (Easier said than done, I know!)

Yes, there were multiple dates and times. They must have to batch the emails they send out in order to know what days/times they can offer to people.

Just got my invitation to interview For LeaDs this evening!! I opted to interview this coming Monday. So excited!!

Congratulations!!! That is super exciting and I am sure you're relieved! Is it a group session with an interview or just a stand-alone interview?

It seems like it is stand-alone. There were 30 minute time slots to choose from all throughout the day. For LeaDS, we’re meeting with two of the professors.

I just got offered an interview as well! I'm so excited ? I'm 21 years old and graduating with a BS in Healthcare Studies from UTD in two short weeks! I feel like I'm one of the younger applicants for sure... so I'm wondering if anyone knows what the age demographics are for this program.
