UT Austin Alternate Entry 2020

Hey everyone! I did not see a post for applicants for Ut Austin's Alternate Entry MSN program for 2020, so I started one! I know the application just opened a few days ago but with all everyone balances, I figure why not start now? I am applying for their PMNHP specialty.

I'm so glad I finally found this thread! I applied for CNS-AG and still haven't heard back yet. I'm REALLY hoping I get in because this is my dream program!!!

I applied to the LeaDs program and am glad I found this thread! I haven’t heard anything back yet either. My stats aren’t great since I didn’t do well in college the first time (3.38 gpa) but I killed my GRE and have patient care experience (not an excessive amount)

Does anyone happen to know what the odds are of getting accepted into the LeaDS program if we applied for PMHNP and were deferred to LeaDS? I assume that’s not a guarantee, but if we wouldn’t have qualified for LeaDS I’m guessing we would have just been cut completely instead of deferred???

CNS! The email this morning was quite a false alarm. I thought it was a decision email... the anxiety is killing me!

Ugh the wait is killing me! What was everyone’s stats?

I had a decent GRE with 160V/158Q/5.5AW. My prerequisite GPA was 3.7 and my undergrad GPA was 3.4 (BS Business Administration). I have a year‘s worth of experience in direct patient care while doing my prerequisites. If I don’t get in this time I will be retaking stats (Got a B-) and trying again next year T-T
