Is anyone registered for the UT Arlington online RN-BSN spring 2010 program? Or already enrolled from last semester? If so, how do you like it?

I'm registered for the Jan. 18th start date at UTA. I"m taking the Professional Nursing course.
Good luck with your first course. Keep me posted on how it is going, and weather you are glad you made that decision. I'm looking forward to getting started soon after you.

I am looking into UT Arlington as well. Great price for an RN-BSN, am afraid there is a catch though. Do you know if their degrees are accepted to most universities after graduation for MSN degrees?

I started on March 12th, so far so good!
Oh...and there is no catch. @Nurseaggie, if you would like to sell some of your books, pm me.

How are skills labs handled?
Do you know what Dallas hospitals are available for the clinical sites?

In the RN-BSN there are no clinicals since students are already nurses.

Does anyone have an update on how things are going? Is the program well organized? So, is there really no clinical component to this program? How do they test your skills?
Thanks...This looks like an interesting option. I am almost ready to sign with Chamberlain but this seems so much better.

I will be graduating from the UTA RN-BSN program in June. I start the last five week class (Capstone) on Monday and I know for me it has been a wonderful program. I work full time and have a busy family life...just as many of you do. I encourage anyone interested in pursuing their BSN to go to UTA!!!! I'm not saying it's easy.....it is time consuming and takes dedication. The best part is you can log on anytime and there is no set time you have to log on. You have a professor and an academic coach and I found they are all supportive all the way through the program. After graduation, I plan to enroll in the MSN-Nursing Administration track and I am already very excited about it!
Thanks for the info.
If you dont mind me asking, how many classes have you been taking at a time and how long will it take you to complete the program?

Can you pursue your BSN degree without actually working as an RN? Sounds like a strange question, but I am trying to keep my current job (outside of nursing profession) for as long as possible for financial reasons.
