Using Kaplan question trainer

Published

I just have a question to those of you who have been using the kaplan question trainer. I was wodnering what you have been scoring on the test??? I am taking the test Wednesday and have been scoring in the 60s. Should I be worried??? I am feeling like I have not prepared enough for the NCLEX!!! I am starting to get really nervous! Thanks for any info

I used the question trainer and scored high 60's - low 70's. I passed the NCLEX in 75. Just be sure to review/understand your rationales. I believe kaplan is much harder than the NCLEX and was the best out of the 10 cd's I tried. Good Luck! Remember to stay calm (as hard as it sounds it means a lot). ;)

hi i am interested in getting that kaplan question trainer cd, can i buy it separate, because in the kaplan website it is included in a study kit, is it available in bookstores, how much does it cost? ive been using the saunders book and cd, and its getting a little easy for me already, and ive heard comments from this site that kaplan is much harder so that's why i think i should try it.

If you do the online Kaplan review you can get access to the Question trainer and the Qbank plus other video clips. It costs about $400 but it was worth it to me. If you go to their website you can get more info. I also have the Saunders book. I found it more helpful for me to answer the questions on the computer since that is how we have to take the test, but also answering questions in the books was helpful when I did not have access to a computer.

I test on 8/1 - Good luck to you.

I think as long as you go over all the rationales (even for the ones you answered correctly b/c you may not understand why it was correct) you'll be fine. I got a 67% on my Kaplan Question Trainer #4, waaaayyy up from my earlier scores. Thursday NCLEX, here I come! I have done thousands of questions and will contunue to do more tonight. I am ready for you!!!!:monkeydance:
