I just have a question to those of you who have been using the kaplan question trainer. I was wodnering what you have been scoring on the test??? I am taking the test Wednesday and have been scoring in the 60s. Should I be worried??? I am feeling like I have not prepared enough for the NCLEX!!! I am starting to get really nervous! Thanks for any info
sigh,im worried too. im taking it tuesday and I keep getting low 60s!!...my last QT, QT 7 I only got a 62. Does this mean my chances of passing are low? I am tempted to cram all day long tomorrow......
any words of wisdom for me?
Do not cram the day before, you will only confuse yourself. The day before the NCLEX you should not look at the stuff. Do something that relaxes you. I got a pedicure. I thought everyone was crazy for that advice but I followed it and I went in to the test calm, thinking I know what I know I hope it's enough. It was.
Good Luck to you!:monkeydance:
I am proud to announce that I passed NCLEX with 75 questions!!!!
However, after the test I thought that I failed because the questions were extremely hard.
USE KAPLAN TRAINER CD!!!!!
I felt that the NCLEX questions were similiar to the KAPLAN questions and the only reason I passed with 75 questions was because all of those tests prepared me to answer questions correctly. I LOVE KAPLAN!!!!!!
I felt the same way as everyone else, I was getting...
Test 1 61%
test 2 65%
test 3 66%
test 4 61%
test 5 67%
test 6 73%
test 7 74%
make sure and go through all rationals for the every answer.
I feel that if you do all 7 tests you will be prepared for NCLEX!!!!!!
Wow, your scores are high for Kaplan! I still have to do 4-7, but on 1-3 I got in the 50's. That was a couple weeks ago when I wasn't doing as well though. Since then on the Qbank questions i've been getting mostly in the 60s with a couple 50's and 70s scattered into that, at 50 questions per test (max you can have). I know I'll be fine, but i am still scared. At least I am improving!!
Nurselene, and did you take the NCLEX so far?
I'm using the Kaplan and my scores are still on the 50's-60's. Actually in the Q-Bank I got around 60% overall, but the trainer tests, I have done:
test 1 51%
test 2 68%
test 3 58%
I know I have to review carefully the anwsers...
No. I take the test tomorrow! I believe my lowest was a 54% and my highest was a 65%..although I'm not relying on those percentages. I mostly focus on how many questions I get right in a row (I try for 8-14)..that's what my teacher said to focus on..and I'm getting 8-14 correct in a row on every test, so..I'll be good. I still have to go over test 6 and 7 tonight..I'm so sick of doing questions!!!
Hy@all:gandalf:
the more I read about percentege, the more I get confused........
I did all saunders questions, (stragtegies and Q&A review), I did kaplan and mosby's incredible easy (haha)..................
I'm tested tomorrow, but the only thing that I will do today is to repeat all the laborparameters and the normal medical level........
If I'm finished at this time (the fiirst test, I failed), I'm pretty shure, to burn all my books............ and dance around the fire........:angryfire
I think, the most important and hardest thing is, to READ the question carefull!!!!!!
@ all the next testtakers - good luck:balloons:
