USF MSN CNL non nurse spring 2018

Published

Hello everyone. I was searching for a thread but could not find one so I am starting this discussion topic for USF MSN non nurse spring 2018 applications.

Lets all discuss our stats like GPA, volunteer experience, etc. I have a decent prerequisite GPA right now. I have registered for Micro and psychology and will be taking in fall. My undertgrad GPA is 3.15 in computer applications (not that good). After working in customer service I was no longer interested in computers so decided to change my major.

Lets start this journey together and good luck to everyone.

@macyymace I submitted the day of on the first

Also, does anyone know if our application status is supposed to change?

Based on previous threads I followed, it should change to "submitted : waiting to get reviewed " or something like that. But not sure when that happens. I also do know about a month after the deadline some change to "decline" if you get cut out of the applicant pool.

Yeah, I've read a few forums too. Didn't know if each application cycle was different seeing as how we didn't have to pay. Needless to say, I'm freaking out all the same lol.

I too read previous forums and based on those forums the first round of decline decisions came around 3rd or 4th October. I am super nervous. I called USF last week to confirm something related to my application. When I asked if they have started reviewing the applications, I did not get any straight answer, I was just told that the decisions will be made around 10th week after the deadline. í ½í¸

Ughhh, of course! Whyyy the 10th week though í ½í¸

Hello. I applied to this program and I am wondering how competitive of an applicant I am. Here are my stats: 3.3 cum gpa, 3.8 prereq. Thank you

Welcome Kirby 1771. Did you apply for SF campus or Orange county? Your GPA is great. Do you have healthcare experience?

Good luck!

Thank you for the quick response. I applied for the SF campus. I have some volunteer experience in the hospital setting, along with working for almost 3 years as a behavior intervionist providing behavioral therapy for kids diagnosed with ASD.

Good luck everyone! All I have to say is enjoy this time right now to relax before you start! I am in week 3 of my MSN program and its crazy! I wish you all the best! Try not to stress too much about the application process (easier said than done I know!)

Hi Aftonheistand, thank you for posting here. Your previous forums has helped a lot. Good to hear that you have started your MSN. Are You taking FNP or Case Management path?

Hello Everyone! Just joining this forum as a fellow applicant! Best of luck!
