Hello everyone. I was searching for a thread but could not find one so I am starting this discussion topic for USF MSN non nurse spring 2018 applications.
Lets all discuss our stats like GPA, volunteer experience, etc. I have a decent prerequisite GPA right now. I have registered for Micro and psychology and will be taking in fall. My undertgrad GPA is 3.15 in computer applications (not that good). After working in customer service I was no longer interested in computers so decided to change my major.

I have some volunteer experience in the hospital setting and have been working with children with disabilities for 2.5 years. I have a pretty strong personal statement and letters of recommendation.
I'm getting super nervous after reading through these threads.

To be honest, it's a toss up. I had the same GPA stats as you and good experience and LOR but got waitlisted.
On the other hand, I've had several friends apply as well, with higher GPA, lower experience and not even get waitlisted. Some friends have had high GPA no experience and get wait listed/accepted. I want to say it's holistic and they accept based on the cohort that is applying.
I added the wrong email under the recommendation but it isn't letting me update it. If I re-add it under a whole new recommendation will it take up my second recommender?

Darn, the ones in SF are $125.. but since there's not much time between now and the deadline, I just paid for it :/
