Hey guys! I wanted to start a threat for those of you applying to USF's MSN-CNL program for this spring! Deadline is Sep 1st, still some time to go! Who is out there that is applying?? :)

Thanks aftonheistand! I'm working, volunteering, studying for gre and working on other apps. Just want this all to be over haha

At least you will have options! I wish I could have applied more broadly, but my husband's job requires us to stay in the Bay Area, and my daughter is already established here with friends/school. Plus we just bought a house last year so we need to stay in the area! Hoping for the best!!

Hey guys! Just wanted to stay as active as possible on this thread while we wait! I know we still have a good 6 weeks left, but if anyone talks to admissions during this time and has relevant information pertaining to the program and waiting period, or when anyone hears back with their admission decision, lets all share info and help each other out! I guess we should be hearing back as soon as the end of October. Has anyone verified this with admissions??

I heard back that my application is being deferred to the summer 2017 application pool because one of my recommenders did not get their letter in. That is fine by me though as I realized after i applied that i can't afford to be without a salary for 2 years. Hoping for the Samuel Merritt ABSN instead.

Nothing here.... the wait is slowly making me loose my mind! I saw on past threads that some denials went out as soon as 4 weeks after the deadline, which is where we are now! EKKKKK! Hopefully only a few more weeks guys! What is everyone doing to keep busy?

Same here! Hopefully decisions are sent out soon. I did read in FAQ section that notifications will be sent out approximately 8-10 weeks. Its kind of a different time line this year since applications where due much earlier that previous years. Waiting is a torture!!!....but they also say its a virtue. I have been working and taking a class...trying to stay busy. I go like 5 days with out thinking about the decision and then it hits me and I start getting anxious...so weird! What have you been doing to keep busy?

@made90 I have just been working like crazy, hiking, working out, and trying to do as many fun things as possible with my daughter! I wish I could go a day without thinking about school haha! I finished my last pre-requisite over the summer so I don't have any school work to keep me busy (kinda wish I did!) haha....I am wondering the same thing about when we will hear back seeing as the previous years deadline was Oct 15th and at that time they were telling them 6 weeks, now its an earlier deadline but says 8-10 weeks. Hmmmmm, I guess it will be late Oct or early Nov! Seems far away! Where else did you apply?
