Hey guys! I wanted to start a threat for those of you applying to USF's MSN-CNL program for this spring! Deadline is Sep 1st, still some time to go! Who is out there that is applying?? :)
@btorok I am not super familiar with the graduate housing but I know the undergrad housing is hit or miss. I never lived on campus when I attended USF for undergrad but I did have tons of friends who did. Some of the options are nice and some aren't, and you don't get to pick where you get. I live in the east bay and commuted to school the whole time I was there. I would usually leave 2.5 hours before class started, and took bart then muni. It wasn't so bad once I got used to it. It saved me a ton of money since SF is terribly expensive to live, but obviously would have been nicer to live closer to school and probably would have saved me many hours of sleep haha. I think if you want to move your best bet is to find a studio or room for rent in SF rather than the grad housing. I hope this helps!
Nothing here! From looking at past threads it looks like week 5 is a big week for denial letters. Then a few weeks later a lot more people start hearing. Who knows how it will go this round but that is what seemed to be happening previously. Super nerve-racking! Everyone keep your head up no matter what happens! We will all be Nurses if we don't give up! :) Let us know when you all hear something!
@md21887 LOL everyone must think I'm crazy! I am very type-A and this process makes me very anxious as well haha! Especially now that people are HEARING BACK! OMG! Maybe everyone will find out early? It is technically only week 5! I want to email admissions to ask but don't want to be an annoyance either. *SIGH*

I'm not in school now either! Which makes the days go by so much longer as I wait to hear back. I've been hiking, enjoying time with loved ones, and working. I'm trying to make the most of my freedom since once the program starts I will be to busy to socialize.... if I even get in!
I've been keeping on eye on the rent/apts available in SF just in case I need to move lat minute. I don't live too far (Sacramento) to commute but being closer would be nicer. Does anyone know anything about the on-campus graduate housing? Good? bad? clean?
