Urgent -NCLEX ON FRIDAY

Nursing Students NCLEX

Updated:   Published

I took NCLEX yesterday afternoon and my name still isn't post on the BON pages with a license number. I finished with 75 questions and just wanted to know if anyone else took their test on a Friday and if so when did you find out if you passed/failed and when was your name posted online.

Sorry I'm referring to PA, I thought I said that earlier guess not! My mind is so scattered and I think I'm driving myself slightly insane trying to find out if I passed or failed

I took both exams in PA and it took the same amount of time-48 hrs/2 business days.

I tested a couple of weeks ago on a Wednesday. Quick results were available Friday. My name showed up on the BON website the following Thursday.

Depends on when you decided to try the trick...if more than 24 hours post exam it's possible you failed.

It's pretty unlikely you failed in 75 questions. If you were prepared and weren't crying when you left the exam I would try to take a deep breath and stop torturing yourself because you probably passed. If you felt terrible leaving the test maybe you should start to try to reconcile yourself to the fact that you may need to retest.

I'm not trying to confirm failure but the number of questions doesn't mean anything. When I took my NCLEX I failed with that many questions. It wasn't until I passed the next time with more questions.

I wasn't saying that the number of questions means she or he passed but I strongly believe that of the people whose test stops at 75 questions, more of those people have passed than failed (granted this is based on anecdotal evidence but evidence from many people). So I'm talking about probability which is still in play despite the fact that it is impossible to definitively know your result from the number of questions.

The average number of questions administered to those who pass the NCLEX-PN or NCLEX-RN statistically is around 120. You can pass or fail at 75 just like you can pass or fail at the maxium number 265 RN/205 PN

I think more people come on & say they passed with 75 questions. The computer cuts you off when it thinks you passed or failed. The number of questions honestly has nothing, at all, to do with it.

I thought 75 was the magical number until I failed.

I took mine on a Friday last month, they posted Tuesday, we don't have quick results in California, so that was the worst! Be patient, it will come, just have faith! My instructor told us in the 10 years she has been teaching she has only come across one student who finished in 75 questions and didn't pass.

Keep us updated!

I took mine the same day and it's also letting me pay. I thought that only works when quick results are available. Who knows at this point I'm just trying to be patient and expecting failure. Someone else I know who took it a few weeks ago in PA on a Friday said nothing was posted til Monday night.

My my biggest concern is that classmates who recently took it had their name posted on Bon the morning after they tested (but none of them tested on a Friday)

There is one trick to check if you are pass or not ( Note: this is not official method thouh..I was told by my friend and it did work for me and my friends :))))....

The trick is ..try to register again in Pearson as if you are taking a date for exam..and if pearson website give you error message while you are registering ..error message is something like this ..i do not know word by word though" we are not able to register...there is a problem ..Please contact your BON..) ...then you have passes your exam...

if it allows to enter your CC number it means you are not..

(Both methods did work with my friends)

GOOD LUCK.. LET US KNOW HOW YOU DID :)))

Good luck...
