Urgent -NCLEX ON FRIDAY

Updated:   Published

I took NCLEX yesterday afternoon and my name still isn't post on the BON pages with a license number. I finished with 75 questions and just wanted to know if anyone else took their test on a Friday and if so when did you find out if you passed/failed and when was your name posted online.

I do not if will be late if exam was on friday..

I tried that and it let me pay. But where I read about doing it it said it only works if your unofficial results are available. And others have said it no longer works.. I have no clue tho

In my hours of (likely unnecessary -- though it passes the time while I'm stressing about the NCLEX) research......the deal with the pop ups is as follows: Whether or not you passed or failed pearson vue will ask you for your credit card information. The pop up happens after you hit submit to actually pay. If you PASSED, you will get something like "Our records indicate you have recently scheduled this examination. This examination cannot be scheduled at this time". If you FAILED, the site will actually charge your credit card and take your money and let you reschedule. There have been actual screen shots posted in other posts/forums that show the difference in the pop ups.

I took mine on Saturday, and honestly I thought the test was brutal, at least the way my questions were. I really thought that I didn't pass though it shut off in 75 questions, however I'm getting the good pop up consistently, and after the 24 hour mark. I'll update when I get my actual results.

Then pay for the quick results then; this "trick" may or may not work; there have been posters in the past that have paid 200 dollars and find out that they passed.

Do you want to wait, pay 8 dollars, or be out of 200 dollars if you passed? Only you can decide.

I took mine the same day and it's also letting me pay. I thought that only works when quick results are available. Who knows at this point I'm just trying to be patient and expecting failure. Someone else I know who took it a few weeks ago in PA on a Friday said nothing was posted til Monday night.

My my biggest concern is that classmates who recently took it had their name posted on Bon the morning after they tested (but none of them tested on a Friday)

The PA BON is very variable; there's no way of finding out how they are going to process the results; it may depend on how many tested, back flow, whatever.

The only option you have is to wait or pay for quick results.

Hello,

Congrats on taking the NCLEX! I cannot remember what day of the week it was. I took mine back in June 2014, not so long ago. I remember that, even though I was very well prepared and the test stopped at 75 questions, I had doubts. Those little "what if's?" kept popping in my head. It was an emotional roller coaster ride while waiting for those results. Thank goodness my family was understanding of the stress I was under and were supportive. I got my results and I celebrated.

Most likely, if you finished at 75 questions, you will pass. I know it is hard to let it go, but if you can forget about it and relax that would be the best thing for you. There is no sense in getting all worked up about it (like I did! lol). I wish I had not allowed myself to get as worked up and worried about it as I did. I understand though. You have worked so hard for so long and there is the possibility that your efforts might not be good enough. There is a lot riding on it.

Well, I am sure you will be finding out the results soon. I wish you luck and congratulate you on your hard work. When you find out you passed, please be sure to do something extra special for yourself.

Try not to read anything into your license not yet being posted. Mine posted in CA in just under 48 hours, but I have classmates where it took a good 6 weeks. I know it's really hard to be patient. Did you do the PVT?

PVT didn't work but I just got my unofficial results and passed! Best $8 I ever spent

Congrats! See...all that worrying for nothing; you would've been out of 200 dollars on an erroneous "trick" ;)

I took the NCLEX on a Saturday. My license was posted the following Monday morning on the State BON website. It you catch it in that state on the first day the state posts it, it lists your information, with a license number and says "Approved" and then changes to "Active" in the status bar.

When I tested, somehow, I knew nothing of the PearsonVue trick, nor anything else of the like. I wasn't paying for quick results either. My thought was - if I passed then great. If I didn't, then I wasn't in a place to waste more money. I did check the SBON website at about 10am on the first business day after I tested (when I tested, our SBON was posting licenses generally the next business day).

The PVT worked for me. While EVERYONE who attempts the

PVT has to re-input their credit card info AND hit submit, it only charges those who did not pass (I used a VISA gift card with a low balance so I didn't really risk it), and for those that DID pass, it will give a pop up something like "you've recently scheduled this exam and cannot schedule at this time". I got the good pop up and passed. Good luck to all! I know its a stressful time:/

I also tested Friday. 1/23. It is. Ow Tuesday and my quick results are still not available. I already called them and they said to call back Wednesday if they're not posted Tuesday....they still have some time but my status still says "results on hold" and bc of this the PVT does not work for me. I am anticipating giving them another call tomorrow.
