Hi everybody,
I couldn't find a thread for UPenn but is anybody else applying?
Hi folks. Does anyone have any insight into whether or not a phone interview could hurt your chances of being accepted? I do live in the Northeast, but in Boston (6 hours away). I'm about to start at a new job, and feel a little sheepish about asking for 2+ days off right off the bat.
Thanks, and well done to everyone for getting that application in -- so nerve-wracking!
It seems like they weight phone and in person interviews the same. I wouldn't worry too much about it - I'm going to be interviewing over the phone as well.
From the email: "Please note we do not require in person interviews, as we have applicants from across the country and understand it may be difficult to attend in person."

Haven't heard anything yet for FNP! I don't think it would matter if you do the phone interview since they are giving you the option. I'd say doing it in person might be slightly better because they can see your body language but yeah I mean depending on your circumstances and what you feel would be best.
