  1. I heard back via phone today! got an offer for the PCU!!!! So hopeful my ATT comes in time:nailbiting:
  2. Nothing yet for me, I also interviewed last week. They said they'll let us know by Monday, so I'm not going to worry til then :)
  3. Unfortunately no. I have an interview for an internship at UCD in the MSICU on Wednesday though!
  4. I applied and said I wanted any of the ICU or tele units.
  5. Has anyone actually gotten an interview for neurotrauma ICU?
  6. Anyone hear anything from Neuro/Trauma ICU or Med ICU? Still no change on my status.
  7. I applied Neuro/Trauma ICU and Med ICU and have no status changes yet. Fingers crossed!
  8. Hi! I applied 1st choice Neuro/Trauma ICU and 2nd choice Medical ICU. I'm so nervous and excited already - this wait is going to be tough!
  9. For our cohort there was an FNP waitlist (at least two people in the program got in off the waiting list) but no waitlist for any other specialty. In other news, decisions are being made today!! If last year is any indication, you can expect a notification in a week or so! Good luck everyone!
  10. Hi everyone! Those of us in the current MEPN class, as well as some former MEPNS and current MSN students, are looking forward to meeting you tomorrow (and next weekend.) Don't worry about being formal at all, we're happy to be here to answer your questions. Remember that we were in your shoes a year ago!
  11. Hi all, I'm also a current MEPN (darthb, who are you? i'm the ASSN A rep). @JennChoi - your classes can be one semester but need to have a lab. For more specific questions email the dude in charge of admissions (we can't post his name here) - he's super helpful and will let you know on a case-by-case basis if your prereq qualifies. I believe cumulative GPA is all classes you've taken, but I went to a school without grades, so I'm not the expert on that. @gatewood - Things I've loved so far: clinical experiences and clinical instructors, my classmates, the med-surg professor I have this fall, lunchtime talks, my advisor. Not going to lie, the summer semester was super tough for reasons I did not expect. Our cohort had some real problems with the summer professors (which will almost certainly be different for next year's cohort.) I think it would have gone better for us, too, if we'd had the summer introduced to us as a kind of academic bootcamp. There aren't many other students/events/lectures etc. going on during the summer and I think that many of the things that were reasons we chose UCSF weren't around. Things both calm down and get more interesting after the first quarter. Happy to answer other questions if folks have any.
  12. I was just waitlisted. Good luck everyone!
  13. Thanks, and congrats to the wave of folks receiving acceptances today! I'm choosing UCSF because I am from San Francisco, want to stay, and want to directly go on and get my NP. If JH hadn't discontinued the BSN/MSN program, I'd have a much harder decision.
  14. I got my acceptance letter for the Dorect entry MSN program yesterday! Good luck to everyone who hasn't found out yet. Im going to be going to UCSF, so I've declined and hope that means that someone else will get my spot soon!
  15. Just letting you all know I'm declining my spot for AC-AGNP so congrats to someone on the waitlist!
