Is anyone here applying to the Accelerated BSN program at Penn (without a specialty)? I haven't heard anything about interviews for this program yet. I would assume they are doing the BSN/MSN interviews first.

According to the email that was sent out on 10/30/2014, any qualifying ABSN applicant (regardless of whether they had applied for the additional MSN/PhD portion or were ABSN-only to start) may be invited to an interview anytime between 11/17/2014 and 01/25/2015.

I got an interview! I have no idea how to prepare for this because I haven't had school interviews before. Is everyone doing in-person interviews?

I'm trying to decide on whether I should fly over or do phone interview because my friend told me the costs are gonna add up if I get interviews from other schools and a lot of mine are east coast. I'm from California...what to do!

The costs are definitely going to add up! The round trip plane ticket for me was ~$380

Yeah, so I may opt for a phone interview! Also for hotel I think I would have to stay 2 nights since they said you need to stay till at least 3pm and what if I can't make my flight in time? Idk. I'm gonna think about it the next couple of days. Don't worry about interviews you can start practicing in front of your mirror now!
