Hi everybody,
I couldn't find a thread for UPenn but is anybody else applying?
Hey, Bumblepea. I feel like that since we are all applying for a direct entry master's program in nursing that they will take into account your past and not having that much prior healthcare experience as that's why you're applying for this type of program is because you wanted to switch careers/get into nursing. And don't worry I feel like my grades aren't that great either, but it's worth a shot to still apply and see what happens. The personal statement and letters of rec could make a difference in their decision. I think all we can do is wait and see what happens. The admissions process is unpredictable and you never know! :)

Hi everyone! I've been following this thread for a bit. I also submitted my app for the CNM/WHNP track. I promised myself that I wouldn't succumb to post-app anxiety, but here I am. I think what's most frustrating is that I have a really hard time gauging how competitive my application is -- my path to nursing (and midwifery specifically) was a winding one, and I spent the better part of my twenties discovering my strengths through trial and error. I attempted to convey this as well-roundedness, but my lack of formal/professional health care experience coupled with VERY average GRE scores on the quantitative and analytical sections make me worry. Does anyone feel similarly?
