Thanks for the reply! Did you just register for courses and not run into any opposition? Or is the 1 class per semester a new rule? This is what it says on the CCP website:

"Non-matriculating students are permitted to enroll in only one course (not to exceed four credits) per semester with a maximum of three courses (not to exceed nine credits) before matriculation is required." Non-Matriculating Students | Community College of Philadelphia

It seems that most people are easily accomplishing their prerequisites without running into this rule. Do I register as a guest student instead despite the fact that I am not currently enrolled in another university?

Hi, Emily :) Yes…it is confusing. Before I enrolled I talked with Admissions, and they advised me to enroll as a "Guest" student. Last semester and this semester I have taken 3 courses each!
