2016 UPenn BSN/MSN Applicants

Hi all,

I couldn't find a thread for the UPenn BSN/MSN 2016 summer applicants, so I decided to start one. I think it will be a great way for us to connect and support each other.

Is anyone else on here currently applying?

Hi all,

I applied to the BSN/MSN program specifically the CRNA specialty. I'm just curious to know if anyone has received any emails stating that they were invited to interview. Im going insane, but I received an email from Filomena saying:

"I wanted to let you know that the faculty for the Nurse Anesthesia program are still reviewing the BSN/MSN applications and decisions on interviews will not be available until Monday, November 16th.

I hope to send you an email notification by the end of the day, Monday, November 16th.

Filomena"

If we didn't get an email, does that mean we didn't get an interview or they just haven't gotten around to sending them out yet? Do they notify us if we are not considered for an MSN specialty?

Has anyone heard anything that was supposed to hear on Monday?

I also applied to the CRNA and still haven't heard anything from Filomena regarding hearing back on Monday the 16th.

Neither have I. I sent her an email asking if that meant I did not get an interview or if they are still reviewing applicants.

Went through this thread and it looks like these are the specialities for the BSN/MSN that have heard decisions about interviews last week:

Adult Gerontology PrimaryPediatric Acute

Pediatric Primary

Family

Midwifery

Women's Health

I'm waiting on PMHNP. Thanks all for the helpful info! Hopefully we hear something soon!

Me too! I will already have a BSN, though. So, I just want straight masters program. Is that true for you?

Congrats to everyone who have received interviews so far & wishing the best for those still waiting! I was wondering if anyone knows how to go about financial aid? I know F.C. sent us a generic email a couple weeks ago after we submitted our apps saying she would be sending out an email regarding this but she still hasn't. Is there anything we can do while we are waiting? Or do we just have to wait for her email?
