2016 UPenn BSN/MSN Applicants

Hi all,

I couldn't find a thread for the UPenn BSN/MSN 2016 summer applicants, so I decided to start one. I think it will be a great way for us to connect and support each other.

Is anyone else on here currently applying?

Just like everything at this school, the financial aid is brilliant.

It seems like everything is covered by loans just about. How is that brilliant?

My applyweb has been updated and all the transcripts I have sent are marked as received. Might be worth checking to see if transcript receipt status has been updated.

Hi everyone! I've applied to the BSN/MSN for AGNP Primary Care and received an interview invite today -

does anyone know if it is super frowned upon to choose the phone interview rather than the on campus interview? I am not sure if my schedule allows for me to travel in December too much

Congrats! That is awesome. I remember reading that they will not hold it against you if you choose a phone interview. I am sure that they understand that many applicants have scheduling or financial constraints that make it difficult to present for an in-person interview.

Has anybody else heard anything?

Just got an interview invite for the Pediatric Acute Care NP ! I think I will be doing a phone interview as well because I will be traveling on the date of the in-person interview

Just received invite for Midwifery. They said they won't hold phone interviews against you. I live in Philly if anyone has questions.

Interview invite for women's health! Most likely will also be doing phone option as I have finals on that week! :(

Checked my app through the website and looks like they still haven't received one of my transcripts and GRE scores.

Just got an interview for Pediatric Primary Care NP! I can't decide between phone or in person. Does anyone know how the in-person interview process is like? Is it one-on-one with faculty?
