Just wanted to go ahead and make this for all UNLV students planning on applying for the Nursing Program in Summer 2021. Please feel free to ask questions and post the score you are applying with. I just completed my calculation worksheet and will be applying with a 98.43 (not sure if I calculated it properly). Best of luck to everyone. Also, I just took the HESI today, 12/12/20, so feel free to ask any questions while it's still fresh in my head.

I haven’t taken my HESI yet. I’ll be taking it before the application deadline for Fall 2021 admission (I’m applying for Fall). Couple questions :)

-Did you take BIOL 251 at UNLV? If you did, who’d you take and was it difficult?

-For the anatomy portion of the HESI, how in depth do the questions go? Are there conversions for the math portion?

I took it during this past Summer semester with Shrikant Bhute. It was honestly pretty brutal but not impossible. Got an A in thr class so its possible, if you put in the time.

It does go pretty in depth, review the main HESI book by elsevisr and look up quizlet questions for review. Yes, definitely memorize the conversions in the book. It's honestly not alot to memorize.

Thanks for making one for Summer 2021. I saw spring2021 and it seemed like the cut off was around 93 points. Hopefully, it'll be around there for us too. I've heard if you have 94 it's usually a safe bet you're getting in...

If I calculated right I'll be apply with 98.66 points. I have my signing session the last Friday of Feb.

If I calculated correctly I should have 96.88 points. Hoping it’s enough to be in for sure. I passed my HESI with 96.6% a few days ago so I can also help if anyone wants :)

I was looking as well and it seems like the cutoff was 93.3 for Sping 2021. Generally, I heard Summer has the lowest cutoff so I think anything above 95 is a good place to be.

Hi everyone! 
 

I’m also applying for unlv Summer 2021. Question, do I need to have history, and stats complete? 
also, I have the pocket prep app and the HESI entry exam guide. Would I be good with studying those two? 
I spoke to someone who got admitted Summer 2020 with 91 points!

I’m studying with the pocket prep app. Did you see any questions from the app on the HESI?

I saw a few, worded a bit differently but same question.

If you get nursehub or pocketprep they hit the areas you need to know.

-Are there conversions for the math portion? 

You definitely need to know conversions, percentages and fractions.
