Hello everyone! I created this in order for us UNLV pre-nursing students who are applying for Spring 2022 admission to share HESI A2 exam scores and to ask questions. It would be greatly appreciated if you guys post your HESI scores, points, and stats :)

Hi all! Taking my chances (VERY low but never hurts to try!) on applying with 91-92 points based on if I pass chem. I got a 96 on the HESI, and I currently have all B's in my classes. I know my chances are slim since most people have 93+. (I've been in school trying to get into nursing school for 5 years now, so for those worrying, its okay! Y'all got this!) Hello everyone,

I will be applying to Spring 2022 of the UNLV Nursing program and I would like to share what I got to see where others are at when applying to this program!

I got all my attempt points so that would be a 15.

In my classes I received:

KIN 223: A- 3.7

KIN 224: A. 4

BIOL 251: A. 4

NURS 299: A. 4

MATH 124: A. 4

CHEM 108: B. 3

These were all on my 1st attempt which is why it stays at 15 points and I took my HESI A2 recently and scored an overall of a 93%.

HESI A2: 93% (Here is a breakdown on each section)

Reading: 84%

Math: 92%

Grammar: 100%

A&P: 96%

Also, I have my rebel extra half-point which is a 0.5 that gets added to our nursing calculation sheet.

UNLV EXTRA: 0.5

Overall after I put everything together to find where I stand my total points stand at 95.65 which I believe is very good but I want to know where others stand. If anyone has any questions fill free to ask. Also, does anyone know when the signing for the Spring of 2022 starts? I know the deadline is in October I just have no idea when it starts.

I’ll be apply again with a 94.11 and hopefully that will be enough this time. Last semester was crazy competitive but I have high hopes! Interested in knowing what others will be applying with and feel free to ask any questions regarding application process.?

Hi everyone! Good luck to everyone applying! 
This is what I am applying with:

-15 attempt points 

-science GPA 3.81

  • kin 223- A
  • kin 224- A
  • Bio 251- A
  • Chem 108- A
  • Nurs 299- B+
  • Math 127- B+

-HESI score of 94.5% (378/400)

-no rebel recognition

So I believe that comes out to 96.3 points for my application!  I know fall was crazy competitive. My advisor said cut off was 95.7 points.

Call now and schedule a signing session! I already have mine set up for 10/7. The sessions are Thursday and Friday in October and the final dead line is 11/1. My advisor said to call and schedule ASAP to get the best pick of a session that works in your schedule. We should be notified if we are accepted the first or second week of November.

In total, I’ll be applying with a 95.47. This is my third time applying to the program so hopefully third time is the charm  :)

Your 3rd time applying with a 95.47???? Wow! That seems like such a great score. 
I’m sure you’ll get in this time!

@A_gutii oh no, this is my first applying to the program with a 95.47. The first time I applied with a 90 and the second time I applied with a 92. I had to retake chem , and the HESI and petitioned one of my attempts to get my overrall score to a 95.47. It’s been a journey LOL.

aww thank you ? I hope so too ! I’m a bit nervous though since the cut off score was pretty high for fall. I wonder if it’ll be the same for Spring

Hi everyone! I will post my stats on Monday. 
I am super excited to find out my new points since I’ve been studying for the HESI V2 for a couple of weeks now :)

Any advice on V2? Did anyone find it harder or easier than V1!? Any feedback is much appreciated!
