Hi everyone! I created this for us UNLV pre-nursing students who are applying for FALL 2022 admission and to share HESI A2 exam scores. Feel free to ask questions and share your calculation points you are applying with. This will be my 3rd attempt at applying to UNLV’s nursing program and I hope it’s my last.??

I’m applying for Fall 2022 admission with:

HESI: 96.5%

KIN 223 : A+

KIN 224 : A

BIOL 251: B+ 

CHEM 108: In progress 

NURS 299 : A+

MATH 124 : A

All have been my first attempt.

I will post my calculation points once I receive my grades for CHEM 108. So far I’m at a high A  and if that’s what I finish with I’m looking at applying with a 97.29.

Applying with 96.1! Not sure where everyone else is but I’ve seen really high scores for this fall! Last attempt in applying for nursing at UNLV before I transfer somewhere else so fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone!

What other scores have you seen for this fall?? I’m super nervous because I know fall is always super competitive?

So far I’ve seen a handful of scores being above a 97 and as low as a 94. Most classes are in person now so hopefully the cut offs are back to being the prepandemic cutoff of 95-96 for fall ?

Hi guys! I took my HESI and got a 94, so I would be applying to the program with a 98.47 cumulative. I can’t decide if I should retake my HESI to try and get a higher score because I know how competitive fall is

Wow that’s a really high score!! I think that’s the highest I’ve seen so far. I definitely think you’ll get in with that. Last fall cutoff was only a 95.8.

I am not feeling confident for fall 2022. I am applying with a 94.7. I tried retaking my HESI but it did not go as planned. 
For anyone not feeling confident, it is okay and it is not the end of the world. If I do not get in, I do plan on applying to a different program. As long as I get to become a nurse that is all that matters! Good luck everyone!

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

 One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within thesite,by clicking onthe Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.
