UNLV Nursing Spring 2023 Cohort

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi Everyone!

I created this forum for students who are applying for UNLV's Spring cohort. It is around the corner, and hopefully this can give us an idea on what the cut-off scores will be this time around. Feel free to ask questions and post your overall scores / HESI A2 score. Good luck to everyone!

I will be applying with a 96.4 and I scored a 94% on the HESI.

Hello!

This will be my second time applying. I luckily got a couple of my petitions approved so this October I will be applying with a 96.4 as well. I scored a 92.5% on my HESI.

I'm kind of nervous to see what the cutoffs are since this past July acceptances were at low 96s. Does anyone know what they were in Spring 2022?

The cut off scores for Spring was mid 95’s. I am feeling a bit nervous too. I am thinking the cutoff will either be the same or high 95’s. It’s usually a bit lower than Fall.

I kind of expected that honestly. I was in a GC with a couple of people from the last cohot before applications and I know a couple of them are applying with at least high 95s like around 95.9. I think the 96.4 we have is competitive enough so there shouldn't be too much to worry about... HOPEFULLY

I really hope so!! November 1st seems so far away.

Hello!

This will be my third time applying. I got a 94% on my HESI, and am applying with a 95.7. I'm hoping for the best, being since this is as high as I can get my score to be. Fingers crossed the cutoff score is a little lower!

That’s a great score! I think you have a good chance. The more people respond, the more we can get an idea on what the cut off might be. Hoping it’s lower as well.

Doing my last attempt at UNLV with a 96. I’m hoping it’s enough as 1) it’s my last attempt LOL and 2) it’s the highest I can get my score ? good luck to everyone!!

I think you have a high chance of getting in! It's stressful seeing the cut-off scores go higher and higher each semester, but I am guessing that Spring will be lower than fall's which means you should be good!

Hello!

I am applying with a 96.67

94% HESI score - (100 anatomy, 96 math, 90 reading, 90 grammar)

Good luck to everyone!
