It is finally my time to post to this forum! EXCITING!!! I did not see a thread for Fall 2020 and I might be SUUUUPER early but man that nursing application process takes proper a year doesn't it?
I am done with all my general courses and TEAS except for nursing chem, one elective (health and human disease), Patho, Pharm, and Intro to Nursing. I plan to take CHEM 1451 and HEED 4312 in the Fall 19 semester, apply in January, and then while waiting on that, take Patho and Intro to Nursing in Spring 2020 and Pharm by itself in Summer 2020.
I have an A in Micro, A&P 1, and A&P 2. This has been a LOOOONG journey and I cannot wait to start!
Hi all! Has everyone received the email saying the application is being processed? Little nervous since I haven’t received an email saying so.. I did speak to my advisor who said was was the one who processed it though. Should I be concerned that I didn’t get the official email?

This is from my email: Processed applications have met the following eligibility criteria: minimum 2.75 in the Admissions GPA and Science GPA, completion of the required 16 hours of natural sciences, passing HESI or TEAS scores, and completion or a plan of completion for the lower-division prerequisite courses (including the upper division elective).

I emailed my advisor just in case. I meet all the criteria + 3 considerations and checked like four times thst I uploaded my TEAS (I had a nightmare that I didn’t so I kept checking ?). Maybe I did something wrong somehow or it’s because I had to change my region.. thank you for your help!!

It might also be because they’re still going through the apps and haven’t gone through everybody yet. Don’t worry!

I havent recieved a email yet. I dont think everyone has recieved one. I believe the admissions committee is going through all the applications to make sure everyone at least qualifies before comparing points. If I dont recieve one within the next couple of days I will contact the advisors to see what is going on. I have all my ducks in a row so there shouldnt be any issues with my application. At least I hope not! lol

That makes me feel slightly better knowing that you had everything too and are waiting! Hopefully we get them tomorrow or the next day!!
nothing s wrong. Last semester I received acceptance letter in the promised time frame and there was no other email before that saying they are processing my information. However I contacted them to make sure they got the same scores fro as I ve calculated them. I was afraid they might miss a consideration or something. They dont wait for all results and send all letter atone time. started , apparently , with summer on campus. afterwards will be either AO or campus based fall. Not everybody will get their letters at same time. plus out of roughly 200 students being accepted from first time only a very small portion are on this thread, that s why u dont hear too many pl talking about being accepted YET...
So I haven’t gotten a “being processed” email so I emailed BSN advising and told them I was taking pathology in Summer 2020 if they could update my degree plan and they replied saying they were going to forward my email to my advisor that was processing my application. So at least I know now my application is being processed by an advisor and it’s not lost. they must be processing by last names, area, etc who knows
