University of San Francisco MSN-CNL for non-nurses- Summer 2015

Published

Hi everyone

Fairly new to this website. I submitted my app to USF this morning for the summer term of 2015, and just wanted to get a thread going and get in contact with some of you on the same boat as me. Best of luck to those of you in the process of submitting

Hello Everyone,

Finally decided to stop "lurking" on this thread. From what I gather, I'm still in the running for USF. It's pretty funny though, I'm nervous about getting in and I'm nervous about being able to afford the high cost of tuition at USF and having to commute to USF from the East Bay. Good luck to everyone who applied and thanks to everyone who has shared info on this thread, it has been very helpful.

Hello everyone! So I emailed someone from admissions yesterday asking them for an approximate time frame on when we'd hear back and her reply was:

"The reviewers are currently in their last round of reviews, and are hoping to have decisions out in the next couple of weeks."

Thank you for sharing this information. Looks like I'll have my fingers crossed a while longer. ;)

Thanks, I called and they told me to keep checking the website application.

Hey rocko, I have been in the same dilemma. Because of the money I will go for the masters. If you wanna get done in one year, do the ABSN.

hey! I was wondering if you guys know if USF or SMU is ranked higher?

According to the USNews University, Samuel Merrit is #165 and USF is #129. I think NCLEX CA pass rate is higher for USF too.

I just got accepted right now! A lady call me on the phone!!! I was also accepted at SMU for the ELMSN-CM program.

I got a call too and I'm the MSN CNL program!

I just got the call as well!!!!

Just did a little research. NCLEX pass rate is actually higher for SMU than USF. Especially when compared to previous years.

Board of Registered Nursing - NCLEX Pass Rates

I will probably attend SMU for other reasons. Whoever is wait listed can probably have my spot.

Hello! I got the call earlier today... So excited... And congrats rcien, sz1991, rockko!

rcien, do you mind giving your reasons behind your decision towards SMU? Of course, only what you wish to share. I'm in the same boat as you, as I too have been accepted at SMU. í ½í¸Š

Also anyone know how many seats are available?

thanks!
