University of San Francisco MSN-CNL for non-nurses- Summer 2015

Hi everyone

Fairly new to this website. I submitted my app to USF this morning for the summer term of 2015, and just wanted to get a thread going and get in contact with some of you on the same boat as me. Best of luck to those of you in the process of submitting :up:

Hi All -

When are we supposed to here again? April? Is anyone else waiting on USF before making a final decision? I was accepted to a program in Boston but am from the SF area so I am holding out to see but have to put a deposit down next week! Any insight or is anyone in a similar situation?

Hi!

I'm in a bit of a similar position as well - I've been accepted to one school (although have a bit of time until I have to put down a deposit), but want to hear from USF before I make a final decision.

The official "word" is that we're supposed to hear 6-8 weeks after the Feb 1st deadline. So hopefully we'll get letters by the end of March, or the first week of April.

I do know that some people put down a deposit to hold their spot (assuming that the money isn't prohibitive), and then if they get in to their first pick/other choice, just chalk up the lost deposit money as part of their overall nursing school costs.

Good luck to everyone! I applied back in Feb and I am so anxious, do you guys wanna share your stats? I barely made the 3.0 cut off.

Results are in for those who were NOT accepted. Check your application status, if it says you can view your decision online, you did not get in. I would know, because it happened to me. Good luck!

You were able to check your application status today and you saw the decision? I just checked my status and it still says Submitted- To be reviewed after deadline. I thought we wouldn't receive any news until 6-8 weeks

Yep they are in if you got rejected, I got one too! Luckily I have some other options but sad that my local school is not an option. GL to everyone who gets in & from here on out!

Are they just posted on the online application where it says submitted? Sorry to hear guys, I was recently rejected from my first choice :/ it's good we all have several alternatives though so best of luck to all of you

Yes, if your status still says, "Submitted - to be reviewed after deadline" you're still in contention! Best of luck!

I keep checking the website and nothing yet. I got into the ABSN at Samuel, but still hesitant about going there since it's almost the same price at the one at SFU. Any piece of advise?

I think they're in the process of rejections right now, so I keep checking the status of my app, but I think we should hear back by end of March/first week of April
