University of San Francisco MSN-CNL for non-nurses- Summer 2015

Hi everyone

Fairly new to this website. I submitted my app to USF this morning for the summer term of 2015, and just wanted to get a thread going and get in contact with some of you on the same boat as me. Best of luck to those of you in the process of submitting :up:

Did anyone test out of a pre-requisite? I got an email saying that one of my classes doesn't count and I feel so sad. Idk if it is too late to sign up for it??

I would definitely sign up for it and There's a place under FAQ for testing out. I've never done it but i'm not sure if they accept or not

Hey all,

Brand new to this website, but I have been reading the previous cohorts and stressing myself out like crazy! They always say not to read this website because all you'll do is add anxiety. Thought I mine as well join in on the blogging! I'm sure you guys have been doing the same. I turned my application in for the Summer 2015 Cohort in October and am just now starting to get anxious! Can't believe we have to wait until April :nailbiting: Would love to hear more about all of you that have applied, and wishing everyone the best of luck! Hope we all get some good news! :up:

Hello just saw you on Hawaii's thread haha. I've also applied to Western, NYU, sadly was rejected from Columbia, and I just recently applied to DePaul and Univ of Maryland as well. How about you?

Hi there! Haha, yeah I've been writing on all the threads of the schools I applied to. I only applied to USF, Hawaii, and Northridge. Makes me nervous thinking that I only applied to three schools, but if this round doesn't work out I will just end up applying to every possible school I can haha. Sorry to hear about Columbia, fingers crossed for you on the others though. Which is your top choice?

Haha I'm in my last semester at CSUN right now :) Honestly, I think my top choice is Hawaii then USF. And I agree, it's so competitive that I first applied to 5 schools and then I kind of got nervous and threw in Maryland and DePaul as well lol but hoping for the best...If i'm not accepted into any programs this time around, I'm planning to continue working and apply again -__-

How do you like CSUN? Now that it is getting closer to hearing back from the schools I am wishing I had applied to more. If I don't get in this time around, I will be doing the same, but this time applying to as many as possible haha. I was reading past Cohorts, and Summer 2014 didn't find out until 1-2 weeks before the program starts! That makes me nervous since I would be moving from SoCal if I get accepted! :nailbiting: Hopefully we will find out a little sooner since they moved the deadline up a couple of weeks! CSUN's okay...I have major senioritis and counting down the days till graduation lol. I'm on the same boat as you and it would be very difficult to just get up and find a place to live and move out to SF from SoCal within a few weeks. I'm hoping early April than mid-April will be when we find out :banghead:

Hello! I posted a while back that I couldn't be considered b/c of a pre-requisite but the office helped me sign up for an exam to take it. So I am still being considered! wooohoo!
