University of San Francisco MSN-CNL for non-nurses- Summer 2015

Hi everyone

Fairly new to this website. I submitted my app to USF this morning for the summer term of 2015, and just wanted to get a thread going and get in contact with some of you on the same boat as me. Best of luck to those of you in the process of submitting :up:

Summer does yield more applicants, but if applicants aren't checking the school's website they may just miss it. They've moved the application deadline up 2 weeks to Feb. 1. Deadline use to be Feb. 15. Could be a total bummer for those who wait until the last minute! Best wishes to all.

I think I saw somewhere that it is 6-8 weeks after the deadline.. so hopefully we get to hear sooner!

@sz1991-- I applied to UCLA (I did my undergrad there), USD (I have an interview!), Columbia (which I'm not feeling too confident about lol.. but I should hear back soon!) and USF (yay!). So only 4 which is starting to really freak me out :( but I will be happy at any of those programs!

How about you!? I think I have bumped into you in another post somewhere..

@rnbound2014- Yes that is very true! That would be unfortunate for those that wait.. I attended an online chat thing and they said thats how long they take but who knows! Im hoping for the best. good luck to you!

Yes! I applied to USF, Columbia as well, Western, NYU, and Hawaii so I'm super nervous to hear back! But we should be hearing back from Columbia anyday now

Oh nice! Yes we are supposed to hear back Friday so I am anxiously waiting! I keep looking at these threads like everyday to help me be patient haha. Is Columbia your top choice?

Me too!!! Columbia and USF are my top choices. I'm trying so hard to keep busy but it's almost impossible to do so :rolleyes: what's your top choice?

I like all of them! But I think I rank USD and UCLA just a little bit higher on my favorites list!!

Hi all! Good luck with apps! I sent in my application on Jan 26th...applied last minute, but fingers crossed. My letter of recommendations providers haven't turned in their letters yet, do you guys this would be an issue?

I would definitely email them regarding this. I've been emailing about some prerequisites with one of the directors and she's been extremely responsive and helpful. I'd assume they'd hold off on reviewing your app until it's in? Not really sure though
