For those already started in the USF program, how's it going?

Congratulations Jessers! I agree the cost of tuition is expensive, but have you compared it to the cost of tuition to the other schools you are planning on applying to? Also, have you applyied to them should also be considered. What program is what truly calls to you. Is the CNL role what you want? If so, you are already admitted to a program, now, today! Good luck in making your decision. I chose not to take them up on the offered seat, b/c I wanted the Nurse Practitioner specialty. Also I compared what tuition was and the difference per unit is about $6. Yes, SMU's program is an extra year, but that's ok. It's the program I wanted. Also, I will be commuting to Oakland from SF. Where I could have just traveled w/in SF, but it's the price I'm willing to pay. I believe it will all be worth it in the end. :)

Called in today and found out that we will be getting information about Registration in June. Plus Orientation is two days (two different orientations - Department & University) - more information to be mailed later.

Hey rcien, See you at Orientation, whenever that is... Have you heard anything besides the acceptance and requirements we need to meet?

Hey master641215, I too log into the Gateway (per the e-mail directions), but there is no updates as of yet. All I ever see is the Student Center information. ??? I also have checked NursingCAS, but not sure we'll see an update there... But??

There are no stupid questions. I asked the same earlier in the thread and master641215 replied that there are no interviews. So, guess we just wait and hear back, soon I hope!

Hello! I got the call earlier today... So excited... And congrats rcien, sz1991, rockko! rcien, do you mind giving your reasons behind your decision towards SMU? Of course, only what you wish to share. I'm in the same boat as you, as I too have been accepted at SMU. í ½í¸Š Also anyone know how many seats are available? thanks!

Hey master641215, Thanks for confirming my suspicion about the interviews. OAN, I also applied for community/public health specialty.

Does anyone know if they hold interviews for the msn application? I don't recall seeing anything about it.

Hi hamsterfeet, Thanks for being part of this forum. If you were part of the very first interview, then we met. Like csnp, I'd also like to ask what you would recommend we start reviewing? Also, should we buy our stethoscope and sphygmomanometer? Or should we wait for more information from the school? Thank you! ... Can't wait to see more people post their admission statuses.
