University of San Francisco MSN-CNL for non-nurses- Summer 2015

Published

Hi everyone

Fairly new to this website. I submitted my app to USF this morning for the summer term of 2015, and just wanted to get a thread going and get in contact with some of you on the same boat as me. Best of luck to those of you in the process of submitting

They called me today and offered me a spot! I will be attending another program but just wanted to let u know that they are still filling the cohort!

For those already started in the USF program, how's it going?

Hello all! I will be applying to the MSN CNL program at USF for Fall '17 and I wanted to know if anyone who is in the program could give me their stats? (GPA, health care experience, all that) I want to see what kind of chance I have. I received A's in all of my pre nursing courses but studied a very rigorous undergraduate major (biology and chemistry) so cummulatively my GPA is about a 3.5ish. I have 4 years of experience working as a medical assistant in 2 different clinics, over 1 year of experience as a medical scribe through the department of public health in SF, and over 1 year of experience volunteering at UCSF corpus clinic treating homeless patients. The CNL role is such a huge passion of mine and I just want to get in so badly! Thank you all for the help!

afton, your background and high GPA is pretty much a guarantee of getting into USF. You could even have chances of getting into UCSF's MEPN program.

I would consider all other options, particularly ones that are more affordable. Unfortunately, you really don't get what you pay for.
