Members are discussing starting their program in 2025 or 2026, housing options, course schedules, tuition costs, dress codes, and Facebook groups for their cohort. Some users were initially rejected but later accepted due to an increase in student intake. There is also confusion about the Facebook group for the class of 2027 and questions about enrollment procedures.
Hello, is anyone applying to University of Pittsburgh's CRNA program for Spring 2025?

It's a great program, the process takes a while but its worth it. Good luck to all of you

All of us found out a week/ two after the last interview. I was a part of the bunch 😁

Also know that even though the school accepts a larger number of students it is also a top ranked school. I believe it was #1 in 2017 and #4 currently for the CRNA program. They get a lot of applications each year. Make sure you put all your cards on the table 👌
Hey guys, I attended the Zoom conference meeting back in February and they said there are 4 interview groups (20 people a day) meaning they interview 80 people total. Out of the 80 interviewed they offer seats to approximately 44. The first and third interview dates are utilized for those who live far distances and are conducted via Zoom. The second and fourth interviews are for those who can commute to attend an in-person interview. I got the call on Saturday (April 6th) for an in person interview on Friday April 12th. They said in the original zoom conference that if you apply before the first deadline of Feb 15th you have a better chance of acceptance because they do rolling applications. However the 2nd deadline is May 1st. They said depending on how you "score" during your interview you could potentially be offered a seat on the spot during your interview. On each interview day they do a morning and afternoon session (10 applicants per session). So my interview on the 12th is the afternoon session(12:30-5:30). You get a debrief of the program, a tour of the facility and sims lab, in person interview and opportunity to interact with current students. I hope this helps clear up some of the confusion! I've heard it a "round robin" personality based interview with the faculty and the students have the potential to ask you clinical based questions. They score your applications based on resume/transcripts, and how well you answer their interview questions. I've interviews at another school earlier this year and there was a CCRN-style exam of 50 questions during the interview. The admission coordinator said they do not utilize a test during the Pitt interview. Hope this helps!
