Some users were initially rejected but later accepted due to an increase in student intake. There is also confusion about the Facebook group for the class of 2027 and questions about enrollment procedures.

Hello, is anyone applying to University of Pittsburgh's CRNA program for Spring 2025?

If we haven't gotten an invite yet does that mean the application is rejected? Or will they send a courtesy letter?

I would give them more time and still have hope. Like I said, I was offered an interview two days before the first interview date... There's a ton of applicants that they are looking through.. who knows what's going on, but have faith. Just be prepared to say yes when they call to whatever date is available..

True, they called me two days before the interview as well. I'm sure it's going to take a long time to get through all the applicants, and it sounds like they rank everyone according to a point system. Gonna take a while. Don't give up hope!

I received a call to interview 🙂

For 4/12? When did you apply?

To everyone that's gotten an interview already - when did you apply/where do you live? Wondering if this factors into what interview date you get

No one else end up getting an invite to interview this week?

Does submitting your application close to deadline make your application weak ?

Their deadlines are misleading. I asked about it during an information meeting, and the Director said the deadlines are set by the school of nursing. However, the admissions committee is going on a rolling basis, and offering interviews as they receive applications. So in short, yes submitting closer to the deadline could place you at a disadvantage if they've already filled the seats or scheduled all of their interviews.

No, it doesn't.  That is why they wait until all the qualified people have been interviewed to make a decision.

If they're going on a rolling basis though are they not sending acceptances as they go? The director said they're doing rolling admissions.

Admissions are usually sent out over a two week period after all interviews.
