Members are discussing starting their program in 2025 or 2026, housing options, course schedules, tuition costs, dress codes, and Facebook groups for their cohort. Some users were initially rejected but later accepted due to an increase in student intake. There is also confusion about the Facebook group for the class of 2027 and questions about enrollment procedures.
Hello, is anyone applying to University of Pittsburgh's CRNA program for Spring 2025?
The info they put out in the information meeting today is the deadlines don't mean much and they are doing rolling admissions. If you don't get an invite to the first interview, you're still eligible to get an interview invite for a later date. The current dates set for interviews are:
- Week of March 25
- April 12th in person
- May 17th virtual
- May 31st in person
He said normally they interview 80 people for 40-44 spots, but this year they will likely be adding more interview dates due to a large volume of applicants. They've had over 300 apps already.

Week of March 25th is what? Sending out interviews? Did they say anything about sending interviews for out of state people for the May 17th spot? Because I live in SC and I would hope I can do a virtual!!

There are interviews being conducted this week. She didn't give the specific date, just said it was this week. Invites had already been sent for the first day of interviews. She didn't make a comment about out of state versus in state being invited to in person or virtual. My personal take on the meeting was whatever interview date you get, you get, whether that's in person or online. Maybe they would accommodate though if you get invited to the in person and want to do an online one since you're out of the area.
Speaking of, does anyone have insight on how their interviews are? I know we rotate through rooms and saw past cohorts saying they felt welcomed and it wasn't so cold as other interviews. Didn't see much regarding style of interviewing— heavy EI? Heavy clinical? Any insight is appreciated.
