  1. Hi! I don't mind - not sure if anything necessarily stands out or how much insight this will provide. Given they use a point system, I speculate some things are weighted more heavily than others. I graduated from a direct-entry MSN program which included advanced patho, advanced pharm, and bio stats. I graduated with a 4.0 cum and 4.0 science. *2 years on a high-volume CTICU taking ECMO, LVAD/RVAD, impella, CRRT, and IABP *CCRN and CNL (Clinical Nurse Leader) certifications *HAI champion, preceptor and research committee member - coauthor of an AJCC publication and NTI poster; no charge experience *Volunteer youth sports coach and part-time fitness instructor I think I saw in one of your previous posts that you had an interview, so remember that you are totally qualified to be a CRNA! What I've gathered from the application process is that it's kinda like dating LOL. The perfect fit for you is where you're going to get an offer. I'm sure you're tired of hearing it but just be patient and it will work out! Getting an interview is an indication of how strong a candidate you are. Good luck!
  2. I can attest to this - I was in the March interview group and learned of my acceptance on 6/14. I know there are people that interviewed late April and found out the same day as I.
  3. Has anyone that's been accepted received any official communication via email?
  4. Has anyone reach out regarding the expected admission notification date Pitt has listed on their website? They've had this on their site for a couple of years but from what I've gathered from this year's and prior year's threads these dates are quite off.
  5. Has anyone who is interviewing this Thursday (3/28) received an email with an itinerary/virtual interview link yet?
  6. I don't mind. First degree was non-nursing (history and psych) finished with a 3.52. Completed a direct entry MSN - finished with a 4.0 science and nursing. Just under 2 years in 32-bed CT surgery ICU taking durable VAD, RVAD, ECMO, impella, IABP, CRRT, and total artificial heart. CCRN, research committee, HAI champion, coauthor of two AACN publications, and precepting...12 hours of shadowing. No GRE and no charge experience. Good luck! Hope you hear something soon.
  7. Just received a call to interview next Thursday 3/28. AM and PM slots still available according to the person with whom I spoke, so keep your ringers on! Good luck everyone.
  8. Yep! That's the only confirmation I ever got on my end. Keeping my fingers crossed for you ?
  9. I made sure to highlight my certifications in my resume. I did not include any supplemental material nor did they ask for any at the time of the interview request. You're not missing anything! Just make sure to send your transcripts to the admissions office - that has to be done separately from the application portal.
  10. Thanks! I sort of broke it into three parts: 1) Why nurse anesthesia in general - short narrative about myself/me as an ICU nurse 2) Why Midwestern specifically 3) Why I think I'm a strong applicant/good fit Hope that helps! Good luck.
  11. Thanks! Sure - 4.0 nursing/science GPA, CCRN, precepting, research with AACN publication, ~2 years on CTICU taking ECMO, impella, durable VAD, RVAD, IABP, CRRT. Best of luck! Hope you hear something soon. Email. I'm interviewing at the beginning of April. There are a handful of dates at the end of March as well.
  12. I received an interview offer on 12/12; I applied on 11/6
