Members are discussing starting their program in 2025 or 2026, housing options, course schedules, tuition costs, dress codes, and Facebook groups for their cohort. Some users were initially rejected but later accepted due to an increase in student intake. There is also confusion about the Facebook group for the class of 2027 and questions about enrollment procedures.
Hello, is anyone applying to University of Pittsburgh's CRNA program for Spring 2025?
Rn419 said:Daysnight! Same thing happened with my significant other last year by the time the call came in we had accepted another program and already looked into getting a place. He was even on the facebook page created for his class. I have applied to Pittsburgh and I can understand the pressure that comes with it. I hope I get into the program.
Can I DM you?
Rn419, have you already interviewed? I am currently in the program and I agree with what Daysnight said about how great the program is. Everything mentioned is basically things you can find when you read from the 2024-2023 platform. Am here to help with any questions you may have. I will be in the class directly ahead of you if you get in class of 2026. Good luck to you all. If I had found this platform 4 years ago with all the support I would probably have graduated from a program sooner. Most people in my class spent days on here looking for any info they could get. Utilize all the resources available to u to make u the best possible candidate.

Haha, we would have been in the same class had I made the choice. My friend is in your class and it seems like your program is very supportive. I haven't heard the last of her school making it to number 2 whiles mine ... you know 😂. It's good that you are here supportive of the next gen!

Hey how was the interview like? What kind of questions and style is it? Am very nervous about interviewing and had a horrible experience with my interview with another program.

It is quite normal to be nervous! In all fairness to the school and those who have interviewed already I don't think it's a good idea for me to share interview information. Schools spend a lot of effort on setting up processes to attract their ideal candidate and I believe an interview process is one of those things. You have to also use the interview process to evaluate the school to see if it's a good fit. Practice the best you can and just know that you will not know the answers to everything.

It's very normal to have bad interviews. You will get in if it is meant to be. Knowing Interview questions before hand and getting Everything right is not important. Getting into the right program for "you " is. Daysnight went through the process and even interviewed but chose a different program in the end. Everything mentioned/ shared by people as you can see are information that has either been shared on prior years platform, school website, or general deductive advice. You will do well just be prepared.
Hey guys!
Is anyone else a current employee for upmc and still has not received a call to interview? I'm starting to feel very doubtful about getting an interview. I applied for the first deadline so could have been called for the April 12th date, but did not. I am trying to not give up hope, but this process is super stressful! Anyone's insight would be super helpful and appreciated.
