Hi everyone!!! I am new to allnurses.com - I was wondering if anyone has applied for the Fall 2009 accelerated program? I have not been able to attend an information session due to scheduling conflicts. Does anyone know how many people apply to the program or know any "insider" info? I know that 50 people get in every year - I just submited my application last week for the early response deadline - good luck to all!!
I got my acceptance today too :) sooo happy and relieved.
And as a U of M alumni, I can vouch for the fact that they just automatically accept us and it says "you've accepted admission" as opposed to giving us a choice to accept or decline.
For all of those still waiting to hear, good luck!
And for my fellow classmates, I can't wait to meet you guys in July!
I was wondering if anybody else here is from out-of-state and can speak about how much tuition/cost-of-living in the Ann Arbor area is like? When I looked here http://ro.umich.edu/tuition/full.php#Second_Nur I am uncertain if the $21k is for the entire year or just a semester or something else.
And because this is a second degree program, not much else in terms of financial aid from the federal government. Except loans. hahaha
Congrats to everyone else!

FYI: they assume UofM alumni are attending and WA shows the message that *nurse* saw (I'm assuming you have attended UofM in the past?).
Otherwise, historically, if you are not a past UofM student, you need to click on a link and accept or decline your acceptance or waitlist status.
I figured I'd just shout that out in case some of you wonder why *nurse* got that message while others may see something slightly different and need to click a link. Congrats to all, again! So happy for you!
