University of Michigan (UofM) Accelerated program

Hi everyone!!! I am new to allnurses.com - I was wondering if anyone has applied for the Fall 2009 accelerated program? I have not been able to attend an information session due to scheduling conflicts. Does anyone know how many people apply to the program or know any "insider" info? I know that 50 people get in every year - I just submited my application last week for the early response deadline - good luck to all!!

Ya, I hope so! I was accepted to UDM so if this unsuccessful (again) then at least I am in somewhere. Best of luck!

I was told they should start releasing some desicions this week. I've been stalking my wolverine access and nothing yet.

Good luck to all you people waiting. We are just starting the second semster in the program. It's been great so far. I had applied at the end of August 2009 and didn't hear anything until Feb of 2010, so it should be soon for you all

Nope, still waiting. Someone else said they were going to start releasing some decisions last week I think but so far it seem like no one has heard anything. It seems weird because there were people on here last year who heard in December! I can't wait to find out because I feel like I'm addicted to checking my application status on wolverine access.

I applied earlier this month, so I know I will be lucky if I hear anything by March or April. I did hear from a friend who applied, that a woman in a class she is currently taking at WCC claims she was accepted into the program. I have no way to validate this information. I am unsure of the validity of her claim since I have a friend who applied in October and she hasn't heard anything. When did you apply?

My application date was 12/6. I hope I can find out by mid February. Last year I applied right before the due date and I didn't find out until mid April.
