University of Miami ABSN Summer 2018

Hello Everyone,

Is anyone else applying for the Accelerated BSN program at the University of Miami to start in May 2018? I am just finishing up my application now and hoping to submit it in a week or two. I'd like to connect to some others also applying!

I look forward to hearing from you all!

Has anyone called and asked how many spots are left and how many more applications they have to review and when we can expect a decision? I keep calling but I can't get through to the person I want to talk to about it.

I am still waiting too... I submitted my application in the very end of December. I just wish they would have send an email if you are not accepted so I can focus on the other options...

I am feeling the same way. I currently live in Virginia and my lease here is up in 3 weeks. I was hoping to know if I was in by now.

I just spoke to someone in admissions. And what people on here are saying is correct - they send out decisions in waves. They just sent out a round of decisions, so it will be 2 weeks until the next one (they send them out that way, because accepted students get 2 weeks to accept or decline offer).

She said that ultimately, all decisions will be made by the end of march. I know that sounds frustrating because it's a month from now lol, but at least that confirms that even if you applied late, the latest you'll hear is a month from now.

Hi everyone, I applied on January 29th and I just got my transcript verified from NursingCAS today. I am not sure the University of Miami still accept my application since it passes 2 weeks buffer.

Admitted! Showed up on my canelink this evening. For anyone who was wondering my application has said "Complete" for weeks with no message til today so don't lose hope! I was also wondering if anyone knows decent priced housing near the campus?

admitted! got my message today. I'm coming from california and have no knowledge of the campus or the area so any input would be appreciated! Also, is there a facebook page for admitted students? Might be nice to get set up so we can get to know one another and share any information!

Did those of you who got admitted get an email or were you just checking the Student Center on Canelink? Mine has no change as of yet.
