Is anyone else applying for the Accelerated BSN program at the University of Miami to start in May 2018? I am just finishing up my application now and hoping to submit it in a week or two. I'd like to connect to some others also applying!

Hey Everyone!

Congrats to those who are admitted! I submitted my application last day because I was in and out of the country but thankfully I made it right on time. Question, by the looks of it, once your application says completed, it doesn't necessarily mean a decision has been made BUT, do you get an email when you get a message on CaneLink? or do you continuously have to check CaneLink every day to see if there's a message?

@Nicklancho I didn't get an email first. A new unread message just popped up on canelink while I was refreshing every 30 seconds lol! I got an email the next day with the same letter that was attached to the canelink message. Hope this helps! Good luck!!

I submitted my application in November and still haven't heard. Has anyone else waited this long? I called UM this morning and they told me there is no specific hear by date and we could be waiting until April...

I applied in november and still have not heard back either. At this point I won't attend even if I get in because I have had to make other plans. I can't wait forever

Hey y'all. I received an e-mail telling me to check my canelink on Friday, then I saw in the student center that I had been accepted. I found the notification kind of confusing. Why not just say in the e-mail whether or not I was accepted? Also, I DON'T see a deadline for when to accept. Has anyone else felt confused by this? I plan to call tomorrow...

For those of you that have been accepted, has anyone gotten any information on financial aid or loans?

I haven't heard back yet but I do not have any holds nor one saying "Academic advising required". I don't want to jinx anything for you (so knock on wood) but that may be a good sign! Best of luck!
