Hi, everyone! I wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2018 application cycle since I didn't see one that was created yet. For those wondering, the deadline is August 15, 2017. Based on last admit's (Spring 2017) thread, applicants started hearing back with denials and acceptances around the second week of September. I look forward to sharing our experiences through this application process!
Does anyone have any insight on the program from any current or previous students? I know it's quite rigorous since it is condensed into 1 year (vs. 15 months at other accelerated second-degree BSN programs).
I have a B.S. in Psychology from UH Main. I'm currently taking my last class for the application (A&P 2 Lab), and I'm planning to take the TEAS in July. Good luck to all!!
Hey guys, I received the email invite for Interview Day and i'm really excited. I'm from the Dallas area so I will be leaving Thursday night to Sugar Land. I'm stoked because I recently got denied from UTMB. Does anyone know exactly where we stand after interview day - will we be invited back for a 1-1 interview, are we basically admitted, I have no idea - any thoughts?.

i called them this afternoon. the do not do 1on 1. its a day of activites as well. they will decide within a week or 2. i hope you get in! your dedication is awesome!
So I attended the interview day and had a great time! If we get accepted does anyone know how to pay/finance the program? they said it was $30,000 plus $3,000 for books and we must have them by the first day of class? If we get financial aid will we get money back to pay for books? For some reason I feel like it doesn't work this way but Im not sure. If someone would be so kind as to let me know, that wold be great!
