Well that’s what the residencies are paying these days from what I gathered unfortunately, between 28 and 29. After the first year there’s like a big raise. If you want to make more then home health might be an option.

Yes indeed.In fact all of the people who got into ICU are in the RN-BSN program. LOL so rejection isn’t guaranteed

Apply to HCA’s StaRN residency program . They accept people in the RN-BSN program.

Right. Have you applied to HCA? I heard they interviewing and hiring for Fall start in October.

I don’t think they do. I heard that it’s like a conflict with area of scope practice ??‍♀️ I could be wrong

Could be that the position opened up because someone declined it. This is good news. Good luck guys! So far I’m enjoying the HCA residency.

Well I could be partially wrong and it could be by units and location. I know Women's Hospital is done hiring for Summer at least that is what I was told. Sorry if I am giving wrong information.

OK. So I said before, HCA has finished interviews for the Summer start (June). They have already started programs last week and this week. They concluded interviews about 3 weeks ago. So I want to believe those who didn’t get a call back maybe pushed to the Winter start which I think is in November. I would also suggest calling your recruiters and follow up on your application. It’s been a long crazy year. I was hired back in February but did not start residency until last week Monday. Was supposed to start in April. I hope this helps.

Hey I am currently in the StaRN program. I am on week 2. To my understanding, they have finished offering positions about 3 weeks ago. Cohorts started August 24th and the 31st

But I could be wrong.

Next residency start in Winter. I got hired for Post surgical. I’m In a combined cohort with people working in ICU. I heard the finished interviews 2 weeks ago.

So I started on the 24th of August. My friends that applied for the Summer cohort are starting on the 31st of August. this Monday.
