Harris Health is open now

My girlfriend is at Tomball, she was hired on in March and just started on Aug 31st. So it could be location unit or need based at this point. I know several people received emails saying they would hear something in like 6 weeks. There is no rhyme or reason as to what is going on

From what I’ve read the range is 27-31 as a new grad no specifications of ADN vs BSN; if any I was told maybe a dollar difference.

Now that I've completed my onboarding process, I am willing to share I am a direct hire at St. Joseph Medical Center. It is not a residency program. I happen to sign up for a healthcare job fair on indeed and was given the opportunity to interview and move forward. I did apply for all the residency programs mentioned on this feed and it can be discouraging, but I see this as God's plan for me. As I said previously, keep applying...... EVERYWHERE!!

I don’t think anyone post misinformation intentionally. Information is shared as received. As adults, do as you will with the information that is provided. The recruiter did state there was a possibility some additional position filled request may come later. I guess this is later.

I will be more than happy to share as soon as the ink dries for me..I signed my offer letter just last Thursday. I am awaiting my background check which should be complete by the end of this week. I will even ask the nursing recruiter if I can share her information.

Yes! I knew whatever God’s plan for me would happen and was fortunate to get a direct hire position. I was worried about not doing a residency as well but I also have an individualized orientation plan. Keep applying. Apply every where!!

Harris Health RN residency app opens Sept 7-28

Applications open up in September for the Winter cohort starting in January/February for Methodist for certain. I can only assume the others are around the same time.

Not only are new grads competing with each other....so many hospitals had to cut hours... so experienced nurses are also competing for those positions. It has definitely been challenging!

CONGRATS to all who received offers today! To those of you who didn’t receive offers via the residency, like myself, apply apply apply! I received a direct hire offer just yesterday!!
