Hi, everyone! I wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2018 application cycle since I didn't see one that was created yet. For those wondering, the deadline is August 15, 2017. Based on last admit's (Spring 2017) thread, applicants started hearing back with denials and acceptances around the second week of September. I look forward to sharing our experiences through this application process!
Does anyone have any insight on the program from any current or previous students? I know it's quite rigorous since it is condensed into 1 year (vs. 15 months at other accelerated second-degree BSN programs).
I have a B.S. in Psychology from UH Main. I'm currently taking my last class for the application (A&P 2 Lab), and I'm planning to take the TEAS in July. Good luck to all!!
so when we email them and confirm that we are going to interview day are we supposed to receive some type of confirmation or do we just show up? haha
I have not received an official confirmation from my RSVP. I believe they will e-mail you if there is an issue with your application, otherwise you should just show up.
Hi All, I've been reading the comments on here for a while but was too shy to comment. I was invited to the Interview Day, the furthest I've gotten since applying to any nursing program. I was beginning to throw in the towel because I've tried so many times, only to be rejected. Hopefully all goes well in the Interview phase. Good luck to everyone.
I also got invited for interview. I am really excited. I have sent my confirmation email. I am just waiting on the fingerprint process to do the background check. I am really excited to meet you all :)
As per the e-mail sent out this morning, we are NOT supposed to take the drug test yet. Just sign up and pay for it. I am assuming if they want to offer us admission after the interview, THEN we would take the drug test.
