Hi, everyone! I wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2018 application cycle since I didn't see one that was created yet. For those wondering, the deadline is August 15, 2017. Based on last admit's (Spring 2017) thread, applicants started hearing back with denials and acceptances around the second week of September. I look forward to sharing our experiences through this application process!
Does anyone have any insight on the program from any current or previous students? I know it's quite rigorous since it is condensed into 1 year (vs. 15 months at other accelerated second-degree BSN programs).
I have a B.S. in Psychology from UH Main. I'm currently taking my last class for the application (A&P 2 Lab), and I'm planning to take the TEAS in July. Good luck to all!!
I am kind of confused about the fingerprinting process... I am able to make an appointment to get fingerprinted on the Identogo website but should I be entering any information specific to UH? Codes and whatnot?
Did anyone receive emails on how to complete the Finger Printing and the type of service to select on the IndentoGo site ? I did receive email at approximately 5pm and followed the instructions to select FBI History Check. There was no code needed. There is only 1 location in all of Houston and there is a $50 fee. I called the scheduling company and asked about the FAST PASS proof we need and was transferred to MorphoUSA. This doesn't seem right. I tried another method at it listed several locations throughout Houston?? Has anyone followed the fingerprinting process all the way through and can tell the rest of us how to proceed?
