University at Buffalo ABSN 2021

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi everyone! I am taking the prerequisites I need to apply to the University at Buffalo ABSN program, to hopefully start in May 2021. I was wondering if anyone has any idea which types of applicants tend to get in (what kind of experience they have, etc.), and how much they value healthcare experience. Any input at all about the program is greatly appreciated!

No idea but I guess we’ll be finding out soon ? someone said they spoke to admissions who said after Dec 15. Super vague but I’m pretty confident we’ll hear back before the end of the week.

Update! Just saw an email from around 11:30am that decisions would be released either today or tomorrow!! So get ready y’all!!

I emailed them too and they said by the end of the week but I’m glad to hear we have even more specific dates now though!!

I also called today and she said decisions would go out by the end of the week. I hate waiting haha

I actually didn’t even ask haha so the unprompted update was a nice gesture! I had to submit a couple transfer equivalency decisions for 2 of my classes and then she told me! At least now we have a solid time frame!!

Not yet! I think they release all the decisions at once. And from what I was told, we should be hearing back today since they didn't come out yesterday!

Yeah, there must have been some sort of delay... total bummer ?  but I'm hoping for tomorrow as well. Good luck!
