University at Buffalo ABSN 2021

Hi everyone! I am taking the prerequisites I need to apply to the University at Buffalo ABSN program, to hopefully start in May 2021. I was wondering if anyone has any idea which types of applicants tend to get in (what kind of experience they have, etc.), and how much they value healthcare experience. Any input at all about the program is greatly appreciated!

No mine is scheduled for December 8th, it was supposed to be this past Wednesday but they rescheduled. Have you? They said it was “informal” but im not sure what to expect

It was super informal. The Interim dean just went over my file and confirmed my GPA and what courses I've taken and then spent about a half hour going over what to expect from the program. She basically told me I got in during the interview too which is a relief!

One of the emails they sent out said "early December." Past years have heard back between Dec 1 - Dec 12 so I'm assuming sometime in the first two weeks-ish of December!

I just talked to UB's school of nursing and they are now saying that decisions won't be sent out until after December 15th ?
